The family spent a few fun-filled days in Monaco in June after Eric had turned three. One day we were invited with friends on board Zefira. We sailed from Monaco only a few miles southwest to Paloma beach near Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat together with a whole flotilla of super yachts for a day on the beach with lunch.
And the next day Mikee and I participated in a game with other yachties trying to find hidden playing cards that forced us to venture out in tenders and water scooters and finally use the cards at Monaco’s casino – not the big one, where Mikee wouldn’t be allowed, but a small one temporarily set up for a game of poker. Mikee was the mascot among us and did really well.
