Toliara tricycle ride

The shops are mainly small “kiosks”, open to the street with korrugated steel roofs

Toliara is one of the larger towns or cities in Madagascar with more than 150,000 inhabitants. But you could hardly find a single car in the city (not quite true as I succeeded in photographing one in my photos from the city, and we ourselves had one for our transport). But in Toliara we did like the inhabitants do and took a tricycle ride to the centre of the city! Tore wanted to have a shave (his luggage including shaver had gone astray on our flight to Madagascar), and I wanted to to capture street life.

The shops were often or mainly located outside the houses, as you will see more of, when I show some pictures from the capital
