Our family does lots of activities together with both the local church in Ottery St Mary, where Mikee is part of the choir, and with Exeter Cathedral And the Swedish Church, where I have been active many years, comes most years and visit us in Ottery St Mary, when we organise a Swedish service and have a lunch at Knightstone.
In 2013 we had a Swedish service at Ottery St Mary church with a Swedish flag flying on top of the bell tower. There were rumours of a new Viking invasion in the town, but it didn’t quite turn out as the invasions of old times!
The other images in the slide show below are from the Christmas period, when the Church Choir visited Knightstone, another lovely tradition. Together with the local church we also arrange a Christmas meal for elderly or lonely people, where we gather for eating and singing together celebrating Christmas.
