HIGGER TOR

My earlier post told about Jennifer’s and my visit to the Peak District last year. We spent a late afternoon and evening at Higger Tor, southwest of Sheffield. “Higger” means higher.

When the sun was about to set the light became quite spectacular. The land disappeared in a distant mist, but the sky stood out in its drama.
