Sailing an old schooner

Mikee at the wheel of Provident

Trinity Foundation is a charity that had a number of old sailing ships, old fishing vessels that had been converted to school ships that took disadvantaged children out and taught them a little bit about sailing and lots about team building and working together.

In the summer they arranged a sea picnic in favour of their charity, and we were invited on a glorious summer’s day.

And in the autumn, they arranged a sailing from Brixham, where they are based, to Dartmouth. Mikee and I participated and Mikee got the honour of being at the wheel for most of the voyage.
