During the last week of Easter holidays I took the children out for lunch in Torquay. Together with Eric and Mikee were also Reibenn, Mikee’s boyfriend. Jennifer was too busy to join us this week. We went to the Elephant, which has a well deserved star in Guide Michelin. Before the lunch we enjoyed a walk around the harbour. The harbour is on the east coast of south Devon – “the English Riviera” – and well protected from the prevailing southwesterlies.
The harbour was surrounded by small restaurants, cafés, small boutiques and lots of people enjoying a beautiful spring day.
